The procedure

PESA: –

  1. With anesthesia, a needle is inserted into the epididymis to extract the semen.

  4. After examining and eliminating those with abnormalities, healthy sperms are chosen for the process of fertilization.

TESE: –

  1. With anesthesia, a small piece of testicular tissue is obtained.
  2. Later, sperms are extracted from that tissue.
  3. The sperms are examined to find any abnormalities.
  4. After examining and eliminating those with eliminating, healthy sperms are chosen for the process of fertilization.
